✦ The verdict
“CoffeeBite runs a tighter menu than most bricks-and-mortar spots, Brazilian 100% Arabica as the house base, a cocktail list that runs from Carajillo to Espresso Gin, and an organic matcha for the non-drinkers. It's a weekend-only operation, which keeps it focused. Come for the Café Glace, stay for the Westergasfabriek.”

CoffeeBite, Westerpark
There's something quietly satisfying about a coffee operation that knows exactly what it is. CoffeeBite doesn't pretend to be a sit-down café with a rotating guest roaster programme, it's a weekend park presence, and it owns that format completely.
The setup is compact and takeaway-focused, which suits the Westerpark crowd just fine. On a Saturday or Sunday, the park fills with a mix of locals walking dogs, visitors heading to Westergasfabriek, and families drifting between the Sunday Market stalls. CoffeeBite sits in the middle of all that movement, and the queue tends to reflect it.
The coffee is built on a house blend sourced from Brazil, 100% Arabica, organic, pulled as espresso and used as the base for a drinks menu that goes considerably further than most park-side operations dare. The Carajillo (espresso with Cuarenta y Tres) is the kind of drink that makes sense at noon on a Sunday in a park. The Café Glace, espresso blended with beaten egg white and vanilla ice cream, is unusual enough to be worth trying once, and good enough that you probably will again. The Cold Brew is a reliable option when the weather cooperates.
For those who want something without the alcohol, the Soya Honey (espresso, honey, cinnamon, soy milk) is a better-balanced drink than its name suggests, and the matcha offering rounds out the menu for non-espresso drinkers. Milk alternatives cover most bases, oat, almond, coconut, soy, lactose-free, which matters in a city where dietary preferences are taken seriously.
Food is light: café bites rather than a kitchen, with vegan options available. This is not a lunch destination, but it pairs well with the food vendors that tend to operate nearby on market days.
Beyond the weekend stand, CoffeeBite runs mobile barista services for events and offers barista courses, the sustainability angle runs through all of it, with eco-friendly cups and a commitment to cycling rather than driving to events. It's a small operation with a clear point of view.
If you're crossing the park on a weekend and want something more considered than a vending machine and more interesting than a standard flat white, this is a reasonable stop. The cocktail menu alone puts it in a different category from most outdoor coffee setups in Amsterdam.
